Rocket logo pays homage to NASA

Make it stand out

In the words of the designer Daniel Stridsberg, from ROST Studio:

"The Rocket logo is designed to be simple and robust. Timeless and legible. Proud and confident."

In 1974, the New York studio of Danne & Blackburn took on a massive client. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (you might know it as NASA) was ready to rebrand after 15 years of the “meatball,” their colloquial nickname for the circular blue logo which showcased “NASA” surrounded by a sprinkle of stars, a flying rocket ship, and a bright red arrow.

‍Now, in 2020, we're taking a cue from NASA with a new Rocket logo that expresses our space heritage and pays homage to NASA space exploration.

Our new logo connects to Rocket's space industry heritage without being too literal (i.e., we don't go  as far as depicting actual rockets or space shuttles). This approach enables the brand to be both space related and totally independent from such references when needed.
